WIAW (not really what I ate this wednesday, but I think it was last wednesday)

Well, I did it,

I remembered this week! Aren’t you proud? because I am! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

So, about a week or so ago we made some “Simply Irresistable” grilled cheese in the kitchen and they consisted of quite the amount of ingredients….

Simply Irresistible Grilled Cheesey Weezey Lemon Squeezey!

  • Fresh Foccacia bread from the Farmers market
  • Morel Mushroom and Onion Jack cheese
  • Sliced yellow zucchini squash
  • Caramelized onions
  • Grilled mushrooms
*Put a teeny weeny bit of butter on the bread to crisp up in the pan with a little onion powder on the butter.
*Next, saute up some thinly sliced squash and mushrooms. Pop those out of the pan only to add in the onions. Get them cooking until they get a little flimsy, then add in about 1-2 tbsp of some coke zero. (Sarah and Brad love this stuff) That will caramelize them up really quick.
*This is the fun step… getting it to pile up on the bread without tipping. It is like sandwich building jenga! πŸ™‚
*Pop these babies in the oven at about 350 or so and bake them just long enough to see the cheese oozing off the sides!!
*Final result, this delicious work of art! πŸ™‚
With a side of veggies and sweet potato fries… Tada = WIA (last week)

… Don’t forget a glass of milk… πŸ™‚
