Hey Guys…
So.. I didn’t finish sharing with you what I did my first week of my Intro to B and P class with Chef Mary Coe!
This is what I have shared with you so far… (check it out to play catch-up)
I also wanted to share with you these items right here!!
1. We made Biscotti – (no finished picture because they are getting graded today)
(the crumb that I ate tasted delicous!)
This is before I cut them!
…. We also Made Scones and Bread loaves!!
For the scones, I chose to add blueberries and orange zest! I got a 3/3 on them! ๐
** I added about 1.5 cups of frozen blueberries and 2 tbsp of orange zest with the flour mixture**
**Add the extras where it says add “add ins” in the recipe!

Bread!!
We made french bread!! ๐ Yay!!
I made my OWN french bread!!!!
There are 3 French Bread Shapes
1. Baguette
2. Batard – Football shape
3. Round Loaf
*Bake at 400 degrees
*Steam 5-6 minutes
*Bake 5-6 MORE minutes
The only downside of baking this at home is we don’t have steam ovens! ( I will get back to you about if we can do anything about this at home) That is why if you make homemade bread at home, it turns out a little more dry. ๐ฆ
