A day in the life!

… of me!! (without work and school… 🙂 )
Thursday, december 29th, 2011… One of the very last days of 2011!

I woke up  at about 7:45 with my lovebug… he was getting ready to go into work and I was getting ready to start my fabulous day off!
I woke up and had a bowl of puffed rice with a little granola and almond milk. Just enough for a successful workout!

 

…..

well… I realized that I don’t have a TON of days of left so I decided to find myself a cozy spot on the couch after my lovebug left for work. Remote in hand, blanket on and I was set. The sun was coming in through the patio and it was keeping me toasty. About half way through the Kelly Ripa show I decided it was time to get moving!

Off to the gym I went for a hard core cardio workout! I lifted on wednesday so I only had cardio on the menu for today… and abs and pushups of course! The workout went well… I sweat for a solid 1 hour and 40 minutes! Yay! 🙂 And got to play with my newest gym buddy from my love!

Ran home quickly to hop in the shower, grab an apple and yogurt and head off to my oil change! 🙂 I love when my oil changes usually need to be done when I have time off.. otherwise it is such a struggle to get them in!
The said it would take about 1.5 hours… few! It was busy… Off to trader joes I decided to walk! I was going to go there any way… so why not walk and take advantage of the time! 🙂

Successfull trip as always… and I also passed up about 4 different temptations! 🙂

Off to world market I went AFTER trader joes… Last minute gift.. and it was successful!

Right as I was paying at world market, my phone rang and my car was allll done! I walked on back to the shop which was about 3/4 of a mile away! Everything went well and my car was ready to go!

I Returned home to make the rest of my lunch… english muffin with 2 eggs sunny side up and some spinach!

Then I got to work… made puppy chow AND chex mix for christmas gifts for Keith’s Family! His dad has celiac so I make him gluten free treats! 🙂 I also wrapped a gift!

“Ring Ring” said my cell phone – text from my love, “I know you worked out.. but I want to go to body pump at 5:30 tonight.. want to go” Of course I want to go.. round two here I come! 😉

After Body pump – returned home, ate dinner, finished up a few gifts, played scrabble, watched my love be a putz and just enjoyed life! 🙂
