I also was a little adventurous in the kitchen on sunday… a very random recipe concoction I came up with!
I really wanted to make some sort of treat of some sort and I also REALLY wanted to use some frozen strawberries. We have a ton of hand picked strawberries to use in the freezer so I wanted to use up with bag from trader joes first! 🙂
So there I was, recipe books, internet pages, blogs looking for some sort of recipe… then the lightbulb came on!
Ding Ding! Make your own strawberry breakfast bar!! 🙂 And that I did!
So I busted out a big ol’ bowl and started just dumping in ingredients.

Strawberry-break-fast Bar – (Little Bit Bars) – Measurements all end in an (-ish) because I didn’t truly “measure.”
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees
- Old Fashioned Rolled Oats (1.5 cups or so)
- Wheat Germ (1/4 cup ish)
- Cinnamon (1 tsp ish)
- Cocoa Powder (2 tbsp ish)
- Honey (4 tbsp ish)
- Agave nectar (1 tbsp ish)
- Syrup (1 tbsp ish)
- Vanila (1 tsp ish)
- Strawberries (thawed out)
- Fiber strips (chunked up)
